The Precious Days
We spend so much time and effort choosing the ingredients of a healthy diet plan, the type of excursive, whether it’s aerobics, Pilates or yoga day and which party or BBQ to attend; although those are all important activities to have and decisions to make in your personal free time, still there isn’t enough attention given to the amount of rest we allow ourselves to. If you look at a list of countries, you’ll be surprised upon noticing that the most developed such as Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, France, Switzerland, UK, Japan and Australia, have the least amount of working hours and the longest weekends, so why you might ask yourself? Well it all depends on how satisfied, rested and valued your workforce feels, this is why we shall explore the value of the weekend.

The secret to productive workdays lies within the hours of disconnect among the amount of rest you’re receiving. According to studies, if you’re not receiving the sufficient amount of rest, you’ll suffer from Mental Fatigue also referred to as Mental Burn-out, which is just as if not more dangerous than physical fatigue. Also if you’re over worked, alert levels in the body rise, affecting the sleep pattern, psychological health, and your immune system, which is being overworked, resulting in higher sick-leaves and a weaker labor force, lacking the proper chances of recovery, our wounds, injuries and illnesses takes much longer to heal whilst the performance plunges.
