Bernardo LaPallo is Already 113 Years Old and Still Kicking - Find Out his Secret

This  super centenarian resident of Arizona lives to inspire people everywhere showing them that they too can grow old, even very old, if only they live clean and healthy lives. He claims that he has never been in his life and that he avoids red meat and eats mostly organic food and vegetables. His secret is a recipe that he inherited from his father who was a doctor and very disciplined man.

Even though he’s 113 years old he can do a lot of stuff such as shop for himself, cook, bathe and shave without any assistance, solving crosswords and reading books as well.

He has a few secrets though; and he shared them so you can live a long life too:

1. Garlic

Garlic has been used as both food and medicine in many cultures for thousands of years. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that have been proven to work effectively without the side effects. Garlic was used as an antiseptic to prevent gangrene during World War I and World War II.

  2. Honey

Honey is a sweet food made by bees using nectar from flowers.  Honey's natural sugars are dehydrated, which prevents fermentation, with added enzymes to modify and transform their chemical composition and pH. If you need a sweetener, our 113-year-old legend wants you to use this.

3. Cinnamon

Cinnamon  is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum that is used in both sweet and savory foods. The cinnamon powder you can buy in stores can lower blood cholesterol and prevent onset of diabetes.

4. Chocolate

If you think chocolate is just for kids or those with sweet tooth, you’re wrong because some researches have found that chocolate, eaten in moderation, can lower blood pressure. Also LaPallo says it’s a vital ingredient in having a long life.

5. Olive oil

Olive oil is a fat obtained from the olive a traditional tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin. It is commonly used in cooking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and soaps. Incorporate it in your daily diet and feel the difference.
